Chris van Amersfoort

Chris has been a partner with HBN Law since 2013. Prior to re-joining the firm in 2011, he worked for Baker & McKenzie and CMS Netherlands.

Chris has 15 years’ experience advising on transactions including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and project finance. In recent years he has led a large number of projects in the tourism, hotel and leisure industry and is known for his pragmatic and goal driven approach. Chris also litigates complex commercial disputes, which gives him added insight when advising clients on their most strategic important deals.

In 2015 Chris set up the HBN Law offices in Amsterdam from where he advises clients on both Dutch and Dutch Caribbean transactional matters. He is also frequently involved as boardroom consultant.
